Our team also regularly advises clients on strategies to obtain the most favorable outcome for their situation, such as concurrent filing of various applications or obtaining waivers.

What is the Process of Naturalization?

If you are a permanent resident, you may qualify for naturalization. To assess your eligibility, the USCIS will look at various factors such as your residency period and criminal history; they may also examine your driving record and moral character when making their determination on citizenship status. Additionally, there is an English language and civics requirement that must be met before becoming a citizen of the United States.

Once you have applied for naturalization, you may be called for an interview at the USCIS. During this time, the officers will review your application and ask you questions about your background, eligibility, and moral character. If everything is satisfactory, you will then take the Oath of Allegiance to the United States and receive your Certificate of Naturalization.

At Legall Law, we understand the complexities of the naturalization process, and our legal team can help you navigate it.
